What was the relationship between Timothy and Paul?
Paul met Timothy in Lystra and took him along. The First Letter to Timothy calls him “my true child in faith.” Acts 16:1-3; 1 Timothy 1:2

Acts 16:3
Him Paul would have to go along with him: and taking him he circumcised him, because of the Jews who were in those places. For they all knew that his father was a Gentile.
