What was the relationship between Ezekiel and Jesus?

Ezekiel announced that God himself would be the shepherd of his sheep. Jesus said that he is the good shepherd who lays down his life for them. Ezekiel 34:11-16, 23; John 10:11-16

They are connected in 2 ways:

  1. The good shepherd
  2. Water and Spirit

What the Bible says

Ezekiel 34:11

For thus saith the Lord God: Behold I myself will seek my sheep, and will visit them.
