Azotus
A place in the Bible
A city near the sea, on the coast of the Holy Land.
What happened here
- Philip: after baptizing the Ethiopian, Philip found himself at Azotus. From there he proclaimed the Gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.
Today
Today the city of Ashdod, in Israel, is there.
